We are developing a metamaterial-based metasurface flat-panel gateway antenna system, engineered to remain unaffected by external environmental factors such as wind, unlike traditional parabolic antennas. By precisely patterning microcircuits onto the surface, we control phase, amplitude, and polarization to achieve performance equivalent to that of conventional parabolic reflectors. The system will be up to 85% lighter than traditional antennas and free from installation limitations, making it ideal for ground station deployment even in dense urban environments.
