[25.05.21.] GTL Joins Advanced Satellite Infrastructure Project in Global innovation Zone > Media & Event

Gyeongsangnam-do has been final selected as the "Global Innovation Special Zone for Next-Generation Advanced Satellites." 

From June 2025 to December 2029 (a period of 4 years and 7 months), 

the project will involve manufacturing next-generation satellites, establishing ground infrastructure, 

and verifying satellite application technologies and components through regulatory flexibility.

GTL is participating as a partner in the ground infrastructure sector. 

The company will officially execute projects to demonstrate and build next-generation gateway antenna systems

 and core ground station technologies for satellite communication and operation.

Through its participation, GTL intends to contribute to the domestic satellite industry ecosystem 

and strengthen its position as a specialized provider in space industry innovation.
