Investment Agreement Signed for Strategic Growth in the Region > Media & Event

On June 12, 2025, Changwon City signed an investment agreement worth 188.5 billion KRW with three companies

—Hanwha Engine Co., Ltd., GTL Co., Ltd., and Samchully Machinery Co., Ltd.—at the Local (Gyeongsangnam-do) Provincial Office. 

This agreement is expected to revitalize the local economy and create 145 new jobs.

The ceremony was attended by Governor of Gyeongsangnam-do, the Mayor of Changwon, and other local government leaders, 

alongside GTL CEO Hwang Geon-ho and executives from participating companies.

GTL is a venture company specializing in the manufacturing of antenna devices for manned aircraft and spacecraft. 

Following the development of a Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite ground station antenna system in September last year,

 the company is now transitioning toward commercialization. 

To prepare for increasing orders in the aerospace sector, 

GTL plans to build additional production facilities for gateway antennas 

within the Changwon Dongjeon General Industrial Complex.
